Halawa
Bay

This is a another part of Molokai's treasure's, where no
body seems to be. I spent half a day in this
valley of greenery and at the beach here, and saw a
total of about 10 people all day. Far in the
distance you can see a waterfall which feeds the river
that runs into the Pacific.

This
is a the secluded beach in Halawa Bay that is easy to
get to. I am at the top of one of the valley's
looking down at the bay. To get there is just an
easy couple minute drive to the bottom.

I
am on the beach now looking at a river that flows into
the ocean. The ocean is behind me, and the valley
is in front of me. If you look closely, you can
see a waterfall in the distance.

One thing about Molokai is that it
has some unique looking, and colorful spiders.
This one is a couple inches long. Before I
realized they existed on the island, I once found myself
face to face with one as I went hiking through some
rough terrain in the valley. There was a huge
spider web between two small trees with one dangling on
the web.
